It is capable of delivering an output current of approximately 9 A, making it suitable for high-power applications such as powering motors or servos. The regulator maintains high efficiency, typically ranging from 80% to 95%, even at light loads by dynamically adjusting the switching frequency. An optional shutdown pin allows the device to enter a low-power state, reducing current draw significantly.
